Individual/Family Membership

It’s all about loyalty.

2,500 dogs, cats and rabbits will come through the shelter this year, hoping for a second chance at a happy life. 

Whether you join as an individual, a family or a business, your commitment to an annual, tax-deductible membership contribution will help make sure all the animals are well cared for, and that Heart of the Valley can continue to reach out to the community with education programs promoting responsible pet ownership, preventing pet overpopulation, and enriching the lives of both people and animals.

KENNEL CLUB - $1,000
Kennel Club members show their loyalty with a significant annual contribution.  At this level, you’ll be invited to the annual President’s Luncheon, in addition to receiving all the benefits for every level listed below.

TOP DOG/CAT - $500
At this level, you are literally saving a life.  HOV spends over $350 per animal to cover medical and shelter care.  Top Dog and Cat members are invited to provide a name for a shelter dog or cat, and receive a photo of the animal who receives their name.  Members at this level also receive all the benefits listed below.

PICK OF THE LITTER - $250
Pick of the Litter members receive all the benefits listed below, plus invitations to HOV special events. 

ANIMAL LOVER - $100
Looking for great value?  Animal lovers receive a half-price adoption, in addition to the benefits listed below.

INDIVIDUAL/FAMILY MEMBER - $50
As a member, you’ll receive an HOV bumper sticker and a subscription to Paw Prints, the HOV newsletter.  You will also be entitled to member discounts on HOV educational programs and merchandise.

Pets and people together – it’s a defining feature of our community.  

Heart of the Valley represents what is best about the Madison and Gallatin valleys – we are passionate about our pets, and we know how to come together as a community to do what needs to be done.  Your commitment to an annual, tax-deductible membership contribution will help make sure all the animals are well cared for, and that Heart of the Valley can continue to reach out to the community with education programs promoting responsible pet ownership, preventing pet overpopulation, and enriching the lives of both people and animals.

Your business is doing well.  Joining the Kennel Club says you’re also doing good.  You’ll receive all the benefits listed below, plus you’ll be invited to Heart of the Valley’s annual President’s Luncheon.

Top Dog/Cat members are reaching out to save a life.  Heart of the Valley spends an average of over $350 per animal for medical and shelter care, approximately $10 per animal per day.  Your membership dollars are literally saving a life—so we invite you to provide a name for a shelter pet!  Members at this level also receive all the benefits listed below.

PICK OF THE LITTER - $250
Pick of the Litter members care deeply about what happens to the lost and homeless animals in our community.  At this level, you will receive all the benefits of business membership listed below, plus invitations to HOV special events. 

BUSINESS MEMBER - $100
As a business member, you’ll receive an HOV bumper sticker or static decal and a free subscription to Paw Prints, the HOV newsletter.  You or your designated company representative will be entitled to member discounts on educational programs and HOV merchandise.  You’ll be listed on our website and in our annual business thank-you ad.
