Folk Dog Opening at tart Folk Dog Art

Meet adoptable dogs and check out local artist Abby McMillen's whimsical and fun folk dog paintings at tart (in the Emerson, 111 South Grand)- a portion of sales goes to HOV!   Reception goes from 5 - 8pm, and the folk dogs will be on display through April 6, 2010. Dancing at the Dog BallThe Dog Ball - Heel!

Heart of the Valley’s signature event is well-heeled but never, never stuffy.  After all, the Dog Ball is no ordinary dinner-auction—it’s a real Montana celebration that has taken root as one of the best parties in the Gallatin and Madison valleys combined!  The 2010 Dog Ball will take place at Riverside Country Club on Friday, June 4th.  Tickets are $150 per person.  Invitations are sent to HOV members, volunteers, donors and friends, and all are welcome.  Guests will enjoy a fully hosted cocktail hour and indoor-outdoor silent auction, followed by a seated dinner, live auction, and a night of dancing and fun!    The party begins at 6:30 p.m. on June 4, 2010.  For reservations, call Jessica Groseth at 388-9399, ext. 112, or email jess@heartofthevalleyshelter.org.

It’s all happening September 11, 2010 at Heart of the Valley Animal shelter! Woofstock is a family- and pet-friendly community festival for people of all ages, a full day of fun with pets, music, food, kids’ activities, adoptathons, contests, demonstrations and a celebration of the love between humans and pets! Woofstock '09 was a huge success, with over 3,500 people and 1,000 dogs!
